
Born in 1965, Henrik holds a Master of Theology and has been a prominent figure in Danish church life and theological education for over three decades. His career has led him from serving as General Secretary of KFS (the Danish International Fellowship of Evangelical Students movement) to leader of the Lutheran Mission’s Folk School in Hillerød. Since 2022, he has served as the Rector of the Danish Bible Institute (DBI) and Director of FIUC-Copenhagen.
As Rector, Henrik emphasizes that theological education should focus not only on academic excellence but also on spiritual and personal formation. Over the years, he has authored several books on faith, the Bible, and Christian living, including titles such as From Signs to Faith (Fra tegn til tro), See My Servant – The Messiah in Isaiah (Se min tjener – Messias hos Esajas), and Who Created the Bible (Hvem skabte Bibelen) among several others.
