Originally from Australia, Matt Smallbone has toured as a bassist with artists such as Michael W. Smith, Rebecca St. James and for KING & COUNTRY. Today, he serves as the Lead Pastor at Church of the City in Nashville – a church that has grown significantly in recent years and is known for its biblical focus, relaxed worship style, and authentic community.

Matt lives in East Nashville with his wife, their four children, and their dog, Rosie. He is a fan of great coffee, riding his bike, and playing volleyball.
